Hi and thanks so very much for joining me on my new blog Witchy Weird!
If you’re joining me today, it’s likely that you’re one of the very first people who I’ve connected with online through my instagram account.
Thank you so much for all your support and your encouragement to get this project off the ground. I appreciate you more than words, and it means so much to me to know that there are others out there who find my interests in the occult to be just as exciting and fulfilling as I do. ❤️
The landscape may seem a little barren here at the moment but that will soon change!
For that last little while, I’ve been busy putting the website together, tweaking the design, getting the technical stuff smoothed out and well, quite honestly obsessing over tiny details that you probably won’t even notice! haha I’ve just been so darn excited to share all the things I’ve learned and found useful over the years, and I want everything to be just right.
Witchy Weird is something I’ve been planning on creating for years… in fact, when I started my first blog, Dishes & Dust Bunnies, it was with the intention of creating a witchy homemaking blog.
After the blog became successful and I started to earn a living from it, gain sponsors and receive paid partnerships, I decided to stick to the recipes and homemaking for fear that my content might be no longer ‘PR friendly’. You can read a little more about that here.
Witchy Weird is what my original blog should have been… ?
So starting today, October 1st 2020, I’ll be publishing new content at least twice a week on various occult topics.
Up first, as promised and by popular vote on my Instagram stories, I’ll be sharing my experience receiving an exorcism as a teenager in my church’s basement.
As a way to celebrate the birth and launch of Witchy Weird, in a day or so, I’ll also be sharing the details on how you can enter a giveaway for a chance to win a visa gift card – I’ll be choosing 3 winners On Samhain/Halloween! Stay tuned for that!
In the meantime, while I make this place cozy and will it with goodies, be sure to check out my about page to find out a little more about me if you haven’t already.
